Adding a hot tub can be a great addition to a glamping stay at The Loft.
Most of our ensuite cabins have hot tubs that can be booked as an extra when booking your accommodation.
- Hot tubs must be booked in advance and do incur an additional charge.
- If you have forgotten to add the hot tub when booking please contact us on visit@theloft.co.uk
- For your safety before using the hot tub you must familiarise yourself with both the hot tub instructions and the hot tub safety rules supplied. A copy of these will be in your welcome pack which you collect from reception upon arrival.

About our hot tubs
- Out hot tubs are wood fired not electric.
- This means they are quiet with no noisy bubbles and pumps.
- This means no flashing lights so you can enjoy dark nights and starry skies.
- You need to maintain the fire to get/keep your hot tub hot. No fire= No hot water. It takes time but it is fabulous!
How does it work?
- When you book your hot tub we will set up the tub, fill with clean, fresh water (water is changed for every guest with fresh water and no nasty chemicals), light the hot tub stove and get this as hot as we can before your arrival.
- Once you arrive you need to maintain the fire/relight if you are arriving late and we have already left for the day.
- On subsequent days we deliver more wood to your cabin for the hot tub. You need to light this to heat the hot tub, we recommend around 1-2 hours. If it is winter and ther temperature is much cooler, it will taker longer to heat.
- Water is changed after 2 days (please follow the hot tub rules to keep your water clean).
- If an earlier water change is required there will be an additional charge of £30 to cover additional wood use and staff time, but if you need this done, please just ask.
How many days can I have the hot tub?
- Minimum usage is now 1 day.
- You can book the hot tub for every night of your stay or just a few nights if you are staying longer. Please note if you book online and select the hot tub this will be applied to every night of your stay. If you just want the hot tub for a few nights of your stay please email visit@theloft.co.uk or call us and we can add this manually to your booking.
- Hot tub usage is for consecutive nights. You cannot book for day 1 and day 5.
How much does it cost?
- If you want to use the wood fired hot tub during your stay you must add the hot tub add on extra when booking, this is an additional charge of £50 per night (£60 for single night use) of your stay and includes wood (fair and reasonable usage rules apply and if you require more wood, please just ask, there is a charge per bucket for extra wood, guests are reminded hot tub wood must not be burnt as firewood for campfires).
