• FIRES: Fires are permitted onsite but ONLY within firepits hired from the site and on designated slabs located at pods/pitches (do not move slabs, these are locacted in the area where you are allowed to have a fire). Please contact us to arrange hire before 4pm on the day required.
• You can bring your own firewood, but this must be pre-bagged recognised firewood (do not collect wood from around the site). Fires must be kept under control and supervised by an adult at all times.
• Do not remove firepits from other pods/pitches, these are booked and other guests will expect to be able to use the firepits they have paid to use.
• BBQ’s: DISPOSABLE BBQ’s ARE NOT PERMITTED. Please bring a free-standing BBQ and only use this on the slabs provided to avoid damage to the grass.
• Please be aware that damage caused to grass, picnic benches and decking (or any other areas) due to negligent placement of BBQs or fire baskets will be charged for. This can be up to £100 per burnt area so please think before you place your BBQ or fire anywhere.
• NO SMOKING in any accommodation or communal areas.
• RESPECT: We expect all our guests to respect and look after the site and the pods/pitches you are staying in. This is our home and fellow guests holiday experience. Please be respectful of this.
• QUIET SITE POLICY. We operate a quiet site policy after 10pm, however please be considerate at any time of the day or night. Respect your fellow guests and keep noise levels low. Noise levels after 10pm should be kept to an absolute minimum.
• NO AMPLIFIED MUSIC AT ANY TIME.
• If noise levels are causing a disturbance, please call the emergency number in your welcome pack and this will be dealt with by staff on site if you do not feel comfortable to speak to noisy guests. We want you to enjoy your stay and enjoy the peaceful countryside. Please be aware that while we live close to site and we aim to be aware of noise onsite, we cannot always hear noise in all areas and do not parole the grounds in the evening or through the night so please call to make us aware of any problems, we are here to help you enjoy your stay.
• Any guests who do not adhere to noise guidelines or any other warnings by management, will be asked to leave the site without refund, and the police may be called to deal with any issues.
• A one warning system is in place and after this you will be asked to leave the site without refund.
• ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES: Pod check-in is from 4pm onwards. Pods may be available for an earlier check-in by arrangement only and this is subject to availability, and this may not always be possible.
• Campsite check-in is from 1pm.
• Late arrivals can be pre-arranged, please call or email in advance of your arrival to let us know if you will arrive late (after 5pm).
• No arrivals after 10pm, this is to avoid disturbance to guests already onsite by late night arrivals. Tents/Campervan and motorhomes must be parked and set up by 10pm.
• Pod departure is strictly by 10am unless late check out has been pre-arranged (failure to comply will result in additional charge).
• Campsite departure is by 11am.
• Details of check in/out procedures are available in The Loft Welcome Guide; it is the responsibility of ALL guests to ensure that they have read this in advance to ensure they can check-in appropriately.
• Please leave your accommodation or pitch as you found them – clean and tidy. Any damages or any exceptional cleaning required may be charged to your credit/debit card.
• COMMUNAL FACILITIES: Kitchen and toilet facilities on the site must be left clean and tidy for the next user, please remove all dishes from the kitchen after washing up. If something is wrong during you stay, let us know so we can fix it.
• CHILDREN: Parents are responsible for their children at all times, as such children must always be supervised. Keep an eye on your children. Do not leave children or dogs unattended in pods/pitches.
• Do not allow children to climb on farm machinery or allow them to go into farm sheds/buildings, as this can be very dangerous.
• DOGS: Please keep dogs on leads and clean up any mess.
• PARKING: Please park at the main Reception building to check-in and then park in your designated parking area/space for you allocated accommodation or pitch. Pod areas are car free zones. Parking and driving on the grass next to cabins is not permitted.
• CARS: Only 1 car per booking, unless by prior arrangement and charge. Additional cars must be parked in the overflow car park.
• On our Campsite each pitch is allocated 1 car parking space next to the pitch for tents/motorhomes and campervans must book an additional car space. Please ensure you park within your pitch. • HOT TUBS: Hot Tubs are only for the use of guests booked into cabins with hot tubs who have booked hot tub use. Hot tubs must only be fuelled by wood provided by us specifically for hot tub use.
• Users of hot tubs must read and follow the hot tub safety rules and rules of usage. Children must always be supervised and never left alone in hot tubs.
• RUBBISH & RECYCLING: Please recycle and dispose of all rubbish in the large waste bins provided on site.
• Other site notices and requests must be respected and observed.
• Respect the countryside code (keep to paths, no litter, dogs must be kept under control).
