We have two accessible pods, designed with the Wigwam Holidays team to make a stay possible for those with limited mobility or wheelchair requirement. These are called our Wigwam Lodge Pod (accessible), one of which has a hot tub, please click here to visit the accommodation page for it.
The pods are accessed by a ramp from a level car park area.
The doors are extra wide.
Inside the pod the sink is lowered and the units can be moved out to create lower level work surfaces.
There is a full category 3, accessible wet room with shower, WC, sink and grab rails.
There is an area at the end of the bed suitable for wheelchair charging.
Cabins can accommodate 5 guests but with a wheelchair user we suggest a maximum 3 person capacity to allow for free movement within the cabin.

We’re also delighted to share feedback from one of our recent guests, Stephen, who stayed in one of our accessible pods with his wife. He kindly took the time to highlight aspects of the cabin and site that were particularly useful.
“My wife and I are regular users of the accessible cabin at The Loft. I am a wheelchair user and always looking for accessible accommodation with roll in shower. The Loft is one of the few places on the Moray coast that offers this facility.
Parking is very close to the ramped access at the top of which is a balcony area with outdoor seating with a wheelchair space. The cabin layout is well thought through with room for wheelchair access to a small kitchen area and table. The cabin has a lovely feel, very cosy especially in the winter. The heating is efficient, providing enough heat even in sub-zero temperatures but don’t forget to bring a good supply of £1 and £2 coins to feed the meter. The shower area is heated by a towel rail and there is plenty of room for a manual wheelchair to access the shower seat.
The cabin looks out over a grass area with cabins dotted around the edge. The main facilities, including the games room, are all wheelchair accessible as are the main access roads.
We have family in Elgin and Duffus and love visiting the Moray coast, especially Findhorn, Elgin and Lossiemouth. Wheelchair accessibility is reasonable in most cafes and visitor attractions. The beach at Findhorn is a particular favourite, providing ramped access to a viewing area with fabulous views across the Moray Firth to the Black Isle and Easter Ross. The actual beach is accessible with care using crutches.
Overall, we love coming to the cabin. It is well positioned for all of the Moray coast and Inverness, and close enough to the Cairngorms for day trips.”

Campsite Accessibility
Our campsite offers level pitches, with access via flat tarmacked surfaces with the nearby Nissen Hut which offers an accesible kitchen area and accessible washroom with toilet, shower, sink and grab rails.
