Luke Daniels is an award-winning composer and folk musician who first came to fame when he won the BBC Young Tradition Award followed by the Palme d’Or and PRS Music Bienniel Award for composition.
Backed with warm and soulful guitar playing his lyrics draw inspiration from folk rhymes, and British poets such as Dryden, Jonson and Isaac Watts. His most recent release Old Friends and Exhausted Enemies touches on Irish and Scottish tradition which has influenced so much of his life and work to date.

Beyond Presents Tom McRae – Live Music

Following the sell-out full band tour marking twenty-five years since his debut album, Tom McRae brings his career-spanning solo show to intimate venues this Autumn — an evening of live music and storytelling that moves between the beloved and the overlooked, with the wit and honesty that has made him one of Britain’s most enduring singer-songwriters — alone on stage with a guitar and a catalogue that has quietly accumulated some of the finest songs in British folk and alternative music.

We’re delighted to welcome acclaimed singer-songwriter Nerina Pallot to The Loft as part of her Fire Escape Symphonies UK tour.
A BRIT Award and Ivor Novello Award nominee, Nerina has enjoyed a career spanning more than 25 years, earning a reputation as one of the UK’s finest singer-songwriters. Known for her honest, heartfelt lyrics and captivating live performances, she has released eight studio albums and written songs for artists including Kylie Minogue.
This intimate solo performance promises an evening of beautiful songs, warm storytelling and exceptional musicianship. Featuring favourites from across her career alongside newer material, it’s a rare opportunity to experience Nerina up close in the unique setting of The Loft.
