Live Music Returns to The Loft!

Constant Follower to Perform in Collaboration with Hilltop Sessions

We’re super excited to announce the return of live music to The Loft after a few years of hiatus! There’s something special about hosting live performances, and we’re excited to kick things off again with a night that promises to be exceptional.

This event is presented in collaboration with Hilltop Sessions, a platform dedicated to bringing intimate, high-quality musical experiences to unique venues across Moray and the Highlands. They are known for curating nights that bring together talented artists and a passionate audience, creating a truly memorable atmosphere.

On Saturday 16^th November, Constant Follower will take the stage in our venue space. Hailing from Stirling, this acclaimed band is fronted by Stephen McAll, whose introspective lyrics and ethereal vocals have captivated listeners across the UK. Constant Follower blends atmospheric folk with delicate, emotional soundscapes, offering an immersive experience that resonates deeply with the soul. Their debut album, Neither Is, Nor Ever Was, was shortlisted for the prestigious SAY (Scottish Album of the Year) Award, showcasing their ability to craft songs filled with raw emotion, reflection, and hope.

Their forthcoming album for Last Night From Glasgow, The Smile You Send Out Returns To You, delves into themes of recovery, family, and the quiet power of kindness. Each song emerges from a deeply solitary process but is ultimately a collaboration – a reflection of their belief that music connects us all, even in our most vulnerable moments.

At its core, Constant Follower’s music is a quiet reminder that, even in solitude, we are bound by the invisible threads of shared experience – we are never truly alone, and the love we send out returns to us.
