Search for our magical creatures at The Loft

We have made a fairy trail so that children can pay them a visit and try to spot them in their natural habitat! Our trail leads through the trees, going past paintings of witches, goblins and fairies, beautifully decorated trees and magical creatures.

You can make a wish at our beautiful wishing tree, which harbours the spirit of a fairy queen. Bring along a wishing stone to place at the foot of the tree and your wishes – will come true.

You might then stumble upon a wicked witch’s lair, where a cauldron lies for you to try out some spells, including a happiness and memory spell. Just say the magic words!

When you are finished learning new spells – see if you can spot the tiny fairy houses at the bottom of the trees – some are bigger than others so you have to keep a sharp lookout.

Keep your eyes peeled for a bug hotel and our little ladybirds along the trail. There are some shy creatures on our trail so make sure you look closely or you might miss them.

We also have a swings and slides within the fairy trail – there is nothing a fairy loves more than bringing happiness to children so have as much fun as possible if you want them to come out and play!

It is free to wander along the fairy trail and makes for a great day out with the kids – and it is fun for grown-ups to feel like children again.
